Senior ServiceNow Test Manager
Contract, Inside IR35 - Mainly Remote
I'm currently supporting a specialist consultancy delivering a large-scale enterprise ServiceNow transformation and they're looking to appoint an experienced Senior ServiceNow Test Manager to join the programme on an initial 6-month contract.
This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of the testing workstream across a complex ServiceNow implementation, leading testing strategy, managing a small team and ensuring high-quality delivery across multiple Agile releases.
The Role
As the Senior Test Manager, you will be responsible for defining and leading the end-to-end testing approach across the programme. Working closely with Delivery Managers, Business Analysts, Developers, Product Owners, and client stakeholders, you'll ensure testing is planned, executed, and governed effectively throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
- Own and deliver the overall testing strategy and test plans
- Lead and mentor a small team of testers
- Coordinate testing across multiple Agile workstreams
- Oversee System, Integration, Regression, UAT, and Production Verification testing
- Manage defect triage, prioritization, and quality reporting
- Work with technical teams to increase automation coverage
- Produce testing dashboards, status reports, and release readiness updates
- Support Go/No-Go decisions for production releases
- Drive continuous improvement across the testing function
What We're Looking For
- Extensive experience leading software testing on enterprise transformation programmes
- Previous experience managing testing teams and multiple concurrent releases
- Strong knowledge of manual and automated testing approaches
- Experience producing Test Strategies and Test Plans
- Strong Agile delivery experience
- Experience using Jira, Azure DevOps, and Confluence
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills

Desirable Experience
- ServiceNow programme experience
- ITSM transformation experience
- ISTQB certification
- ITIL Foundation
What's on Offer
- £475-£550 per day (Inside IR35)
- Initial 6-month contract with strong likelihood of extension
- Mainly remote working with occasional travel to Edinburgh or other UK customer locations
- Immediate project with a target start date mid August
