The Finance Change Team is responsible for managing and delivering the finance change initiatives (regulatory or as defined by the finance leadership team) related to finance processes, workflow, reports, system integrations and supporting transitions of future acquisitions or demergers.
A role you will love
The Senior Test Manager role operates within this function and is responsible for leading the test strategy and execution across programmes of work to redesign core finance processes across various domains such as Enterprise Performance Management (EPM), Quote to Cash, Record to Report, Source to Pay, and Acquire to Retire.
This role also involves maintaining and optimising financial systems and associated data while ensuring successful delivery within agreed timeframes and working collaboratively across other global teams.
Some Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, execution, and successful completion of test strategy across finance processes and system changes
- Ensure alignment with organisational objectives while managing resources, timelines, and budgets
- Regularly update stakeholders on project progress
- Hold the project team accountable for meeting deadlines
- Responsible for delivery of Test Strategy, Scoping, Planning, Analysis, Design, Implementation, Execution, Reporting, Exit & Closure activities
- Maintain a full view of project risks and issues and escalate where appropriate
- Ensure timely and within-budget delivery of project scope
- Maintain policies and procedures
- Monitor processes to ensure global governance compliance and report non-compliance
- Ensure all requirements, including regulatory and statutory, are met
- Record analysis for future reference and track decisions
- Conduct regular 1:1s with direct reports and embed a culture of diversity and inclusiveness

What will you bring to the role?
The Senior Test Manager will require extensive experience in leading change on large scale projects. You will bring an awareness of Enterprise Risk Management and awareness of legislative and regulatory requirements within the financial services industry.
Other Key Skills Required For The Role Include
- Extensive experience in leading testing strategy, hands on experience of analysing designs & specifications, assessing risk, defining test cases, identifying test data requirements, mapping traceability to requirements, executing tests, investigating issues, reporting risks, logging bugs, capturing test evidence, and reporting on test progress.
- Experience in leading Change Management in a complex environment and within a geographically dispersed team.
- Ability to solve complex problems and work on abstract and conceptual issues.
- Setting objectives, driving performance, planning and coordination are all expected of this person.
- Able to react and adapt in a changing environment and still deliver innovative solutions.
- A well developed understanding of the finance sector and knowledge of how complex financial systems operate is essential, exposure to Oracle Fusion would be advantageous.
