Thermal Management Engineer – aerospace
We are seeking a highly motivated Thermal Management Engineer to support the development of advanced thermal management systems and products. The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Thermal-fluid analysis
- Heat exchanger design and optimization
- CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) simulation
- Development of engineering tools for product design and technology maturation
The role demands a strong foundation in heat transfer, fluid mechanics, and thermal system design, along with experience in simulation-driven engineering and data analysis.

Key Responsibilities
The Thermal Management Engineer will:
- Perform thermal sizing of systems and heat exchangers using both analytical and numerical methods.
- Develop and maintain 1D thermal-fluid models to predict system performance.
- Conduct CFD simulations to evaluate:
- Flow distribution
- Pressure drop
- Heat transfer performance
- Flow maldistribution issues
- Support concept development, trade studies, and design optimization activities.
- Analyse test data and correlate results with simulation and analytical models.
Required Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in:
- Mechanical Engineering
- Aerospace Engineering
- Or a related discipline
Experience & Technical Skills
- Minimum 6 years’ industry experience in:
- Thermal management
- Heat transfer
- Fluid flow analysis
- Strong grasp of heat exchanger fundamentals and thermal-fluid systems.
- Proficiency in 1D sizing methodologies and performance prediction.
- Experience with CFD tools, including:
- ANSYS Fluent
- CFX
- STAR-CCM+
- OpenFOAM
- Intermediate Python programming skills for:
- Engineering calculations
- Data processing
- Automation
