Senior Planner to Associate – Planning Consultancy Role

About the Role

A well-established independent planning consultancy with a strong reputation across the South West is seeking a Senior Planner to Associate to join their expanding team. You'll take ownership of a diverse range of projects, including:

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead planning projects from appraisal through to determination and appeal
  • Provide strategic planning advice to private and public sector clients
  • Manage client relationships and deliver trusted consultancy
  • Support business development and contribute to the consultancy's growth
  • Collaborate with a small, experienced team on high-quality projects across the South West

Requirements

  • MRTPI qualification (mandatory)
  • Experience in planning consultancy or private-sector planning roles
  • Strong ability to manage complex projects effectively
  • Proven track record of building and maintaining client relationships
  • Commercially savvy with excellent communication skills
  • Ambitious, proactive, and committed to career progression
