Senior Town Planner

Banbury

Salary: Negotiable depending on skills and experience

Due to continued expansion, this respected planning consultancy is looking to appoint an experienced Town Planner to work as part of their Oxfordshire based team. The successful Town Planner will be working within a friendly and professional team, delivering expert planning advice to their clients on residential, commercial and retail developments.

In this instance applications are sought from candidates with a BSc / MSc in an appropriate planning discipline and Chartered Membership to the RTPI. It is likely that the successful Town Planner will have a minimum of two years planning experience, preferably within a consultancy environment.

Duties

  • Preparing planning applications and appeals for a variety of developments
  • Completing survey work
  • Mentoring junior members of the team
  • Liaising with clients, developers and local authorities
  • Identifying opportunities for profit
