Purpose
The Trade Support team is an integral part of the Investment Management business, ensuring timely, accurate and thorough execution of trade support functions, working closely with the dealing desk and the investment teams to ensure a robust trade lifecycle.
Working Relationships
The role is based in the London office and reports to the Head of Trade Support.
Principal Elements and Accountabilities
- To assist the trade support team with matching & settlement instructions across our multi-asset fund range. Securities include equity, ETF, fixed income, funds & collectives, and foreign exchange.
- Ensure accurate and timely trade affirmation.
- Work with brokers and custodians to ensure timely resolution of breaks.
- Investigating and resolving any failed trades, non-receipts and interest claims.
- Act as a first point of contact for trade related enquiries from internal stakeholders, including Fund Managers, Dealers and Client Relationship Managers.
- Monitoring trade blotter.
- Production and communication of trade files to custodians and third-party administrators.
- Liaise with custodians to resolve issues on client accounts as they arise.
- Ensuring accurate and timely broker set up on all relevant internal and external systems.
- Manage internal and external account data, including settlement connections and setting up new assets.
- Project work.

Qualifications and Experience
- Circa 10 Years experience in a Middle Office, Trade Support or Trade Assistant role ideally from a Private Bank or Wealth Manager.
- Multi asset class exposure.
- Knowledge of DTCC CTM and ALERT is imperative.
- Experience of SS&C Advent would be an advantage but familiarity with other Order Management Systems is essential.
- Experience of Calastone.
- IMC, IOC/IAQ or equivalent professional qualification advantageous, although not a prerequisite.
- Experience working with multiple custodians essential.
- Experience of Global markets.
