About HONEYWELL

Honeywell is a global innovator helping organisations make their buildings and operations smarter, safer and more sustainable through advanced automation and technology. In the UK, Honeywell Control Systems has been active since 1926. Based in Bracknell, we specialise in practical building‑control solutions such as heating and combustion controls, programmable thermostats and automation systems that keep buildings running efficiently and reliably. Across Europe, Honeywell Building Solutions continues this mission by delivering integrated systems that connect, protect and optimise commercial facilities.

About the role

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Senior Treasury Analyst with strong Trade Finance expertise to support our end‑to‑end credit risk, payment security and financial compliance processes. In this role, you will manage Letters of Credit, Bank Guarantees and other Trade Finance instruments, while partnering closely with Sales, Customer Care, Risk, C2C, Treasury and operational teams. You will play a key role in safeguarding Honeywell’s financial exposure, strengthening our processes and ensuring accurate and timely execution of all Trade Finance activities.

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Managing, reviewing and negotiating Letters of Credit in full compliance with UCP 600 to ensure timely and secure payment.
  • Maintaining strong bank relationships to support escalation, negotiation and issuance of LCs, Bank Guarantees and Standby Letters of Credit.
  • Preparing and managing all Trade Finance documentation through Trade Technologies, GTC Komgo and internal systems for accurate reporting.
  • Collaborating with Sales, Customer Care, Risk, C2C and Business Leaders to align LC terms, assess country risks and recommend effective financial solutions.
  • Providing alternative Trade Finance structures when LCs cannot be agreed, ensuring Honeywell maintains minimal payment exposure.
  • Supporting the preparation and issuance of Bank Guarantees and SBLCs for customer and project requirements.
  • Leading process improvements across SBUs to strengthen and standardise Treasury and Trade Finance procedures.
  • Maintaining weekly follow‑ups with SBUs and ensuring strong collaboration, coverage and knowledge‑sharing within the LC team.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
