Role Overview
As a Acting Treasury Management System (TMS) Subject Matter Expert, you will lead critical system integration projects, support treasury operations, drive automation and AI initiatives, and deliver strategic enhancements within treasury technology environments. A key focus is leading treasury workstreams in a large-scale Microsoft Dynamics 365 implementation.

Key Responsibilities
Treasury Systems & Operational Support
- Act as the technical Subject Matter Expert (SME) for treasury systems, bank portals, and integrated finance applications.
- Provide escalation support for:
- Treasury system issues
- Payment processing exceptions
- Interface failures
- Maintain system configurations, integrations, controls, and documentation across the treasury technology environment.
- Support audit activities, control enhancements, and operational risk management initiatives.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency through:
- Automation
- AI
- Increased system utilisation
- Provide operational support and cover in Treasury Systems & Operations as required.
Microsoft Dynamics 365 Treasury Integration
- Lead all treasury-related workstreams within the Microsoft Dynamics 365 implementation.
- Manage TMS integration with:
- Dynamics 365
- Banking partners
- Third-party payment providers
- Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders across:
- Treasury
- Finance
- Accounts Payable
- Technology
- Banking partners
- Oversee:
- System build
- Integration testing
- User acceptance testing
- Defect resolution
- Production deployment
- Manage all elements of project delivery:
- Project plans
- Governance
- Risk tracking
- Stakeholder communications

Treasury Transformation & Strategic Projects
- Deliver key treasury technology and transformation initiatives within the treasury roadmap.
- Lead implementation of new TMS integrations, including:
- API connectivity
- Payment solutions
- Cash management enhancements
- Support regulatory and industry-driven change programmes, such as:
- SWIFT initiatives
- ISO 20022 compliance activities
- Drive treasury business continuity, automation, AI, and process improvement projects.
- Monitor developments across treasury technology and banking platforms, providing recommendations for future enhancements.
Profile & Experience Requirements
Essential
- 5+ years' experience delivering:
- Treasury systems projects
- Treasury operations
- Treasury transformation projects
- Advanced Treasury Management System (TMS) expertise, including:
- Both functional and technical/infrastructure components
- Proven experience managing:
- End-to-end project delivery
- Planning
- Governance
- Stakeholder management
- Vendor coordination with third-party providers
- Strong understanding of:
- Treasury payments
- AP payment processes
- Payment file formats
- Bank connectivity
- Statement reporting
- Ability to:
- Analyse complex business and technical requirements
- Translate them into practical solutions
- Strong project management skills, balancing:
- Detailed execution
- Strategic objectives
- Delivery timelines
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including:
- Engagement with technical and non-technical audiences
- Comfortable working in:
- A fast-paced, evolving environment
- A high-priority multi-tasking environment
