Senior Trust and Probate Solicitor
We are seeking an experienced Trust & Probate Lawyer to join our established Private Client team in Royston. This is a senior appointment offering the opportunity to handle complex and high-value matters whilst playing a key role in the continued development of the department.
You will advise a broad range of clients on trusts, estate administration, succession planning, wills, inheritance tax planning, and related private client matters. This role would suit a confident and commercially minded solicitor looking to take on a leadership position within a respected and growing firm.
Duties Manage a varied caseload of complex trust and probate matters Advise on wills, estate administration, trusts, tax and succession planning Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, referrers and professional contacts Provide technical support and mentoring to junior members of the team Assist with business development and networking activities Contribute to the strategic growth of the Private Client department

Successful Candidate Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with 10+ years' PQE in Private Client work Strong technical expertise in trust and probate matters Experience handling high-value and complex estates Excellent client care, communication and relationship-building skills Commercially aware with an interest in business development STEP qualification desirable but not essential
