Senior Trusts Manager

Senior Trusts Manager (Maternity Cover) – Fixed-term

About the Role

Pancreatic Cancer UK is seeking a Senior Trusts Manager (Maternity Cover) to contribute to a critical phase of organisational growth and secure vital income to support their mission: significantly improving survival outcomes for people affected by pancreatic cancer.

In this strategic, hands-on role, you will lead the development of the Trusts & Foundations programme, driving sustainable income growth while managing a direct report. This involves overseeing high-value partnerships, securing five and six-figure gifts, and building impactful case statements that influence major multi-year donations.

This is an exceptional opportunity for a charity fundraising professional to take charge of an established programme, strengthen key donor relationships, and deliver dividends with transformative reach.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the Trusts & Foundations programme, driving incremental income growth.
  • Develop and maintain high-value trust funding pipelines, ensuring allocation of resources.
  • Secure major donations (minimum £100,000+ aggregately) to meet programme targets.
  • Build, maintain, and expand relationships with major donors and foundations.
  • Shape compelling cases for support, aligning with organisational fundraiser priorities.
  • Manage a direct report, providing leadership, guidance, and performance development.
  • Ensure compliance with grants and support office policies and procedures.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
