Senior Underwriter (Bridging Finance)

North West London | £60,000–£70,000 DOE

We're partnering with a growing specialist property finance lender in North West London with an excellent reputation for delivering fast, commercially astute lending decisions and exceptional service.

Due to continued growth, they're looking to appoint an experienced Senior Underwriter with a strong background in bridging finance and previous experience mentoring or developing junior underwriters. This is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of complex lending decisions while helping to shape and strengthen the underwriting team.

The Role

You'll manage bridging finance applications from initial enquiry through to completion, assessing risk, making commercially sound lending decisions and ensuring an outstanding service is delivered throughout the process.

Working closely with brokers, borrowers, solicitors, valuers and internal stakeholders, you'll oversee your own pipeline while also providing technical guidance, coaching and day-to-day support to junior members of the underwriting team.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
