Eames Consulting is partnering with a leading Lloyd's Syndicate looking to appoint a Senior Underwriter to join its established Property team in London.
This is an opportunity to join a well-respected underwriting platform with an established portfolio spanning both US and International Property Direct & Facultative business. Backed by significant underwriting capacity and an experienced leadership team, the business is continuing to invest in its Property proposition, with plans to further grow both its existing US portfolio and its International offering.
You'll underwrite a broad range of complex commercial Property risks, working closely with leading London Market brokers across both new business and renewals. This role offers genuine autonomy, exposure to a wide variety of risks and the opportunity to play a key part in the continued growth of the portfolio.

The Opportunity
- Underwrite a diverse portfolio of US and International Property D&F business across Primary and Excess placements.
- Build and develop relationships with leading London Market brokers.
- Manage new business and renewals while contributing to profitable portfolio growth.
- Work within an experienced and collaborative underwriting team with significant market expertise.
- Contribute to underwriting strategy, broker development and portfolio performance.
About You
- Property underwriting experience within the Lloyd's or London Market.
- Experience underwriting Direct & Facultative Property risks across either US, International or both.
- Strong technical underwriting capability with sound commercial judgement.
- Confident decision-maker with excellent broker relationship skills.
- A collaborative individual who enjoys working within a high-performing underwriting team.
