This is a genuinely exciting time to join the Design Ops Team at Royal London as we accelerate our digital experience transformation and reimagine our digital services.
As a Senior UX Designer, you'll join a talented team within our Digital Office, working alongside passionate colleagues dedicated to creating exceptional experiences and helping customers achieve the best possible outcomes.
Using a broad range of UX skills, you'll shape customer-centred experiences from discovery through to delivery, collaborating with cross-functional teams to solve complex problems and drive meaningful improvements across our digital services.
About the Role
You'll play a key role in shaping the future of Royal London's digital experiences, leading user-centred design activities and working closely with stakeholders, product teams and delivery partners to solve complex customer problems. Alongside delivering high-quality experiences, you'll help strengthen the wider design practice by championing UX excellence, sharing knowledge and driving consistency across our digital products and services.
About You
- Extensive understanding of usability, research methodologies, design best practices and complex interaction design.
- Expert in responsive and adaptive web design with mobile first thinking.
- Excellent understanding of accessibility standards.
- Excellent understanding of user-centred design.
- Experience conducting moderated or unmoderated user research.
- Extensive practical experience of rapid prototyping / wire-framing using industry tools.
- Pro-active and results orientated.
- Confident engaging and influencing stakeholders.
- Comfortable being vocal and challenging opinions with data backed evidence.
- Ability to multi-task and learn quickly.
- Energetic team player with the ability to manage own workload effectively.
