The Opportunity
We’re seeking a Senior UX/UI Product Designer to join our central London team on a permanent basis. This hybrid role embeds you directly with a leading automotive client’s App Operations team, where you’ll design mobile-first digital experiences that enhance user engagement, operational efficiency, and the automotive customer journey.
As a hands-on designer, you’ll translate complex functionalities into intuitive, visually compelling mobile interfaces, owning the end-to-end design lifecycle—from research to implementation—while collaborating cross-functionally to deliver seamless, high-performing app experiences.

- Work Mode: Hybrid (4 days/week in office + remote flexibility)

What You’ll Be Doing

Mobile-First Design & Execution
- Lead end-to-end UX/UI design for the client’s iOS and Android mobile applications, including:
- User flows, interaction models, and information architecture
- Wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs aligned with brand guidelines and mobile aesthetics
- Micro-interactions, gestural controls, and responsive layouts for all device sizes
- Collaboration with developers to ensure technically feasible, performance-optimised designs
- Lead end-to-end UX/UI design for the client’s iOS and Android mobile applications, including:

User Research & Testing (Mobile-Focused)
- Conduct and participate in mobile-specific research (usability testing on devices, remote ethnography, A/B testing)
- Analyse app analytics, user feedback, and market trends to identify opportunities
- Translate findings into actionable design improvements with iterative prototypes

Collaboration & Advocacy
- Work with UX Lead, product managers, developers, and designers to unify approach across mobile initiatives
- Champion mobile-first best practices, accessibility, and design consistency within the App Operations team
- Present design concepts to stakeholders with clear, persuasive reasoning
What We Want From You
Essential Requirements
- Senior UX/UI Designer with a specialized focus on mobile (iOS & Android)
- Portfolio showcasing end-to-end mobile UX/UI design (research → prototyping → implementation)
- Proficiency in Figma for prototype development and design system contribution
- Deep understanding of mobile-first design principles, including:
- Apple’s Human Interface Guidelines and Google’s Material Design
- Regulated industry experience (e.g., automotive, healthcare) is a plus
- Experience with user research, usability testing, and performance optimisation
- Technical awareness of mobile development constraints (feasibility, performance)
Desirable Skills
- Experience in complex industries (automotive, finance, healthcare)
- Knowledge of accessibility (WCAG) and responsive design systems
- Ability to drive autonomous design decisions in a fast-paced environment
