Senior Value Consultant
The Senior Value Consultant will impact achievement of revenue targets by engaging directly in sales pursuits to demonstrate the business value that can be realized from the Workiva solution. This role will have an opportunity to influence Workiva’s sales engagements through direct involvement on medium to large size pursuits and as an advisor to the sales team on volume pursuits to provide guidance on value and business case principles to ensure consistency in your assigned areas.
What You’ll Do
- Assist cross-functional teams in a series of customer interviews and workshops as a component of Value Assessments
- Pursue, identify, prioritize and quantify key business drivers (metrics) to describe how our solutions will help solve operational and financial challenges and align to our prospects & customers desired business outcomes
- Drive production and assist in the delivery of compelling executive level presentations with financial business cases to support customer buying decision
- Assist the enablement of the sales organization and supporting teams on Value Management principles and tools
- Collaborate with the Commercial Desk to produce proposal pricing and winning bids
- Ensure appropriate handoff of customer desired outcomes, current state, and measures of success to Client Services and Customer Success teams upon deal completion
- Collect and measure key industry metrics to establish trends and benchmarking

Minimum Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience in Management Consulting, Value Consulting or related
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong analytical, spreadsheet and creative problem solving skills
- Strong acumen and efficiency in presentation and document development
- Proven results-driven individual with good business acumen
- Expertise in Sales, Solution Engineering, Strategy Consulting, and/or Customer Success
- Ability, and desire, to work successfully in a high-energy, fast paced, rapidly changing environment is necessary
- Prior experience managing elements of the customer experience in pre-sales or post-sales capacities
- Proven ability to execute company established principles of value creation and/or value realization within organizations
Travel Requirements & Working Conditions
- Up to 40% travel
- Reliable internet access for any period of time working remotely, not in a Workiva office
