Senior Verification Engineer - ISP

Verification Engineer - Systems Media IP Team, Arm

Job Overview

This position offers a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and highly motivated verification engineer to join Arm Systems Media IP team! Our team develops Image Signal Processors (ISPs), Display Processors, and Video codecs for deployment in Arm Compute Subsystems, catering to diverse end-markets such as automotive, IoT, and client segments.

Our intellectual property spans RTL, reference drivers, tools, and libraries, empowering our customers to build adaptive and cutting-edge products. You’ll be developing verification testbenches, enhancing existing systems, and driving best-practices in hardware verification. This is also a new team with abundant scope for shaping both its trajectory and your career growth.

Responsibilities

Depending on your experience, responsibilities may include:

  • Verification ownership of unit-level or multi-unit hierarchy, or alternatively as a verification lead for a core IP, such as ISP, Display, or Video.
  • Architecting Verification IP (VIP) and full verification environments.
  • Reviewing proposed design changes and assessing verification complexity implications.
  • Applying machine learning and data science techniques to analyze simulation runs, driving efficient bug discovery and debugging.
  • Identifying opportunities for cross-Media IP process or methodology improvements and implementing best-practices for hardware verification efficiency.
  • Close collaboration with other Arm engineering teams to ensure a high-quality, system-leader IP.
  • Mentoring and supporting team members.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
