Senior Veterinary Surgeon
Senior Veterinary Surgeon : Small Animal
Our client is seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Veterinary Surgeon to lead and develop their small animal department. This is an opportunity for an ambitious clinician to play a key role in shaping the future of the practice while delivering the high standard of compassionate, expert care that clients expect.
The Role
- Provide clinical leadership within the small animal department and support its continued growth and development
- Supervise and mentor junior veterinary colleagues
- Take responsibility for clinical decision-making and management of individual cases
- Work closely with a dedicated team of vets, nurses, and support staff
- Contribute to maintaining and enhancing excellent patient and client care standards
- Opportunity to pursue and develop areas of clinical interest or specialism

About You
- Experienced veterinary professional with the confidence and capability to operate at senior level
- Strong communicator with excellent team collaboration skills
- Passionate about clinical excellence and continuous development
- Interested in expanding clinical expertise and contributing to service development
- Commercial awareness and interest in future business involvement would be advantageous
What’s on Offer
Flexible Working Arrangements
- Minimum commitment of three days per week, with full-time options available
- Working hours between 08:30 and 18:00
- Limited Saturday rota commitment (maximum of 10 Saturdays per year)
- No out-of-hours requirement, with dedicated external on-call cover in place
