Senior Vet required with a surgical bias to join a stable, growing team in a role that can offer a truly flexible rota – salary up to £65,000 (FTE, DOE)
You will be joining a growing practice at a truly exciting time where you can help drive and enhance the care the practice can offer by leading the development in surgery offered in practice.
This role is ideal for someone with a surgical bias.
We can offer a truly flexible rota, this will be predominantly a weekday position with occasional Saturday mornings (max 1 in 4).
We can even offer school hours!
This is a great role for someone looking to help build surgery in practice but also mentor junior staff.
You will be supported by a very experienced clinical team.
The role can consider full or part-time hours.
We believe all our colleagues should be able to reach their career goals so we will support CPD and certificates.
Paying up to £65,000 (DOE, FTE).

About Us
Many members of our team have built their careers within the practice. Four of our nurses originally joined us as locums before becoming permanent team members, and our kennel assistant has progressed from a VCA to a student nurse. Our Practice Owner, Karina, is also a trained Mental Health First Aider, reflecting our commitment to the wellbeing and support of our team.

Practice Owner Karina is testament to the investment she puts into her teams’ progression and development. Initially qualifying as a nursing assistant in 2006 before qualifying as a vet from the Royal Veterinary College in 2017.
We are an approved training practice, and our Practice Owner/Veterinary Surgeon, Karina, is a Vet GDP Advisor.
About The Role
We have a great relationship with the in-store Pets at Home team and have an incredible client base with a varied and growing case load including small furries, exotics, and dentistry.
We’re a diverse team so depending on your own individual style, our consult times vary, and breaks and an hour lunch break are always included in the day. It’s important to us that our team feels included so we also hold a regular catch up after morning consults, with time to share thoughts and ideas.
This role will be key to the practice as a Senior Veterinary Surgeon you will mentor the junior members of the team ensuring clinical standards are maintained. Alongside this you will drive the surgery treatments within the practice.
There is no OOH with this role, and we make sure that appointments finish half an hour before closing so that we have time to catch up and still get away on time!
