Our client, a leading international investment bank with a highly regarded healthcare franchise, is looking to appoint a Senior Vice President or Director to join its Healthcare M&A team in London.
This is a rare opportunity to step into a senior origination and execution role within a well-established, deal-active platform. The team advises corporates, private equity firms and founders across the full breadth of the healthcare sector, including pharma services, medtech, healthcare services, diagnostics and life sciences tools.
The Role:
- Lead the day-to-day execution of M&A transactions across the healthcare sector, including sell-side and buy-side mandates, from origination through to completion
- Take genuine ownership of client relationships, acting as a trusted adviser to boards, sponsors and management teams
- Play an active role in origination, working alongside senior bankers to identify opportunities, develop sector theses and pitch for new mandates
- Manage, mentor and develop junior team members across live transactions and marketing efforts
- Contribute to the continued growth of the healthcare franchise in Europe

Candidate requirements:
- Significant M&A experience gained within an investment bank or advisory boutique, with a demonstrable track record in healthcare
- Currently operating at Vice President, Senior Vice President or Director level
- Strong deal execution credentials, with the ability to run processes independently and manage multiple workstreams
- Established relationships within the healthcare sector, or a clear trajectory towards origination, are highly advantageous
- Excellent technical, analytical and communication skills, with the gravitas to operate credibly at senior client level
- A genuine interest in the healthcare sector and ambition to build a long-term career within a growing franchise
