Role Overview
Manages a medium to large-sized team of Product Owners supporting one large product or multiple products. Requires a comprehensive knowledge of the product and market. Strategic vision for the product or solution. Proficiency in Lean-Agile principles at scale. Competency in roadmap development and feature prioritization. Strong communication and leadership skills for cross-team coordination. Market and customer insight to guide product direction.
Primary Responsibilities
- Leading initiatives to successfully manage moderately complex product life cycles, from development through marketing.
- Ensuring collaboration, communication and escalation.
- Help to remove obstacles.
- Provides advanced guidance on product management processes and methods to ensure products are aligned with client needs.
- Reviews final products and strategies for major project initiatives, providing direction as needed.
- Recruits, motivates and develops staff, maximizing their individual contribution, their professional growth and their ability to function effectively with their colleagues as a team.
- Works closely with Product Owners to align team backlogs with program vision.
- Participates in PI planning and other program level ceremonies.
- Ability to influence, persuade and collaborate with stakeholders, including customers without authority.
- Manages one or more product management teams.
- Contributes to the achievement of team objectives.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business management or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required; advanced degree preferred.
- 10+ years of related experience required; experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus.
