Job Description
About the Role
Manages a medium to large-sized team of Product Owners supporting one large product or multiple products. Requires a comprehensive knowledge of the product and market. Strategic vision for the product or solution. Proficiency in Lean-Agile principles at scale. Competency in roadmap development and feature prioritization. Strong communication and leadership skills for cross-team coordination. Market and customer insight to guide product direction.
Primary Responsibilities
- Leading initiatives to successfully manage moderately complex product life cycles, from development through marketing.
- Ensuring collaboration, communication, and escalation.
- Helping to remove obstacles.
- Providing advanced guidance on product management processes and methods to ensure products are aligned with client needs.
- Reviewing final products and strategies for major project initiatives, providing direction as needed.
- Recruiting, motivating, and developing staff, maximizing their individual contribution, their professional growth, and their ability to function effectively with their colleagues as a team.
- Working closely with Product Owners to align team backlogs with program vision.
- Participating in PI planning and other program-level ceremonies.
- Ability to influence, persuade, and collaborate with stakeholders, including customers without authority.
- Managing one or more product management teams.
- Contributing to the achievement of team objectives.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business management or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required; advanced degree preferred.
- 10+ years of related experience required; experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus.
