About the Role
We’re seeking a Senior Vice President, Product Design Manager to join our team.
As the Senior Vice President, Product Design Manager, you will make a transformative impact, driving excellence in user experience (UX), product design, and brand alignment across our platforms.
Key Responsibilities
As a subject matter expert, you will:
- Continuously refine expertise in UX, human-computer interaction, and design, applying advanced concepts to solve complex challenges across the team and cross-functional partners.
- Establish methods, procedures, and best practices for new projects, often coordinating efforts across internal and external stakeholders.
- Provide comprehensive consultation on user research (surveys, interviews, usability testing) and interpret findings in collaboration with product and development teams.
- Review and refine research documentation, user personas, and information architecture to ensure alignment with goals and user needs.
- Lead the design process, including the creation of concepts, wireframes, storyboards, prototypes, and specifications, ensuring alignment with project timelines.
- Champion brand consistency by setting and enforcing visual style guidelines (color, typography, iconography) to enhance both aesthetics and usability.
- Serve as a UX empiricist, using feedback, fieldwork, and market data to guide design decisions and improve user experience.
- Define and uphold design systems and standards, fostering cross-functional buy-in and training designers outside the UX team.
- Define successful product outcomes through user-centered analysis, testing, and design methodologies, ensuring solutions meet specified business and user goals.
- Lead complex, high-impact projects, driving key outcomes through structured analysis, collaboration, and stakeholder engagement.
- Build and maintain strong internal relationships, engaging with cross-functional partners, decision-makers, and key stakeholders to ensure alignment across teams.

Qualifications
To thrive in this role, we seek:
- A Bachelor’s degree in psychology, user experience, design, human-computer interaction (HCI), or a related field—an advanced degree is preferred.
- Substantial experience in either of the following:
- Securities or financial services industry (highly desirable).
- Design leadership—proven track record in shaping UX strategy, improving usability, and advocating for user-centered design.
- Expertise in UX research methodologies, including **heuristic evaluations, usability testing, and data-driven decision-making.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, with a reputation for influence and guidance when engaging developers, product managers, and other stakeholders.
