Senior Vice President – Per-Risk Reinsurance (Property Risk Portfolio)
Working closely with clients across European markets, this senior broking position focuses on developing and delivering tailored per-risk reinsurance solutions within the property risk portfolio.
Collaborate with clients, market specialists, and internal teams to recognise opportunities and secure the best possible outcomes while leveraging deep market expertise and strong relationships across European property catastrophe, per-risk, and broader risk markets. The role also involves engagement with selected retrocession accounts.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive innovation and client-focused solutions for complex risk challenges
- Build and sustain strategic client relationships across European markets, contributing to revenue growth
- Manage and develop broking teams, enhancing technical expertise and performance, particularly in property risk and per-risk reinsurance
- Actively participate in business strategy and revenue planning
- Collaborate closely with property line teams to align client solutions, market insights, and growth opportunities
Requirements
You must have:
- Deep expertise in property reinsurance broking, including significant experience in per-risk reinsurance solutions for European clients
- Experience working with UK clients or markets is a valuable addition
- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience, proving management of large, complex accounts and high-value clients
- Established relationships and strong networking capabilities with:
- Treaty underwriters
- Key market stakeholders
- Property reinsurance teams
- Proven track record of successfully managing complex, high-value client relationships
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities
- The ability to innovate and think strategically in a dynamic market environment
