Malaberg builds premium health, nutrition, and skincare brands in-house and is scaling across the UK and US.
About the Role
We are hiring a Senior Video Producer with a genuine editing background and proven experience leading a production team. You have cut professionally and set the standard for a team's output before. You are comfortable with AI video tools, using them actively as a core part of your workflow. Your foundation is built on craft and leadership.
This is a management role. You will lead a small team, including a Video Production Coordinator and a roster of editors. You will set the standard for all output, run the workflow, and own the production pipeline from end to end—including its AI components. Your extensive editing background gives you the technical authority to manage closely. You will work directly with the founders and take on greater ownership as the department scales.

- Lead and manage the video production team, including a Video Production Coordinator and editors
- Set clear expectations, review output, and maintain the quality bar
Production Pipeline Ownership
- Own the production pipeline from brief to finished asset, covering:
- Generation
- Post-production
- Quality control
- Delivery

Content Production
- Produce and oversee high-volume ad variations, leveraging AI video tools (HeyGen, Kling, VO3, ElevenLabs, RunwayML, and others) alongside traditional production methods
- Bridge AI-generated output with traditional post-production processes by generating assets in AI tools, then cutting and polishing them in Premiere Pro or After Effects to ensure seamlessresults
- Build and maintain production systems that include:
- Asset tracking
- Version control
- Workshop visibility
- Quality checkpoints in Notion
Cross-Team Coordination
- Collaborate seamlessly across editors, the production coordinator, and the copy & creative teams to align timelines
Innovation & Process Improvement
- Stay current with emerging AI tools and integrate those that improve the department's output
- Identify and remove bottlenecks in the production process, ensuring accountability for both pace and quality
- Contribute to the creative direction of ad formats, test new approaches, and incorporate performance data into the workflow
Requirements
Experience & Expertise
- A strong editing background; capable of opening Premiere Pro or After Effects to diagnose and resolve post-production issues independently
- Proven experience managing a production team or workflow, where you established high standards for quality output
- Expertise coordinating production workflows, including alignment on:
- Project briefs
- Timelines
- Review rounds
- Delivery stages
- Active interest in AI video production—familiarity with tools and a clear understanding of their potential capabilities
- Experience working in a fast-turnaround content environment, such as: Direct-to-consumer (DTC), social media, eCommerce, gaming, or lead generation
- A systems-oriented mindset; you must have built effective processes for teams that leave workflows better than you found them
