Senior Waiter, EVE Kensington
Bring energy, personality and polish to one of Kensington's most talked-about dining rooms.
EVE is the restaurant at the heart of Ember Locke Kensington: bold, design-led and buzzing from the first coffee to the last cocktail. We are looking for a Senior Waiter who thrives on the floor, reads a room instinctively, and turns a good meal into a night worth remembering. If you love the theatre of great service and want your section to be the one guests ask for by name, this is your table.
EVE is part of White Rabbit Hospitality, home to a growing portfolio of hotels and restaurants including Rusacks St Andrews, The Randolph Oxford and Graduate Cambridge. We back people who want to build something, not just clock in. Our vision is simple and ambitious: to be the world's leading hospitality incubator.
What sets EVE apart is the mix. A stylish neighbourhood crowd, an ambitious kitchen, a serious drinks programme and a team that genuinely wants to be here. As a Senior Waiter you are not just running plates, you are setting the standard for the juniors around you and shaping how every guest feels from arrival to goodbye.
We hire for attitude as much as ability, and we live by four values every shift:
HOSPITALITY IS AT OUR CORE. You anticipate needs before guests voice them and make every table feel looked after.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
