The Role:
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Web Content Manager to support the development and launch of a new AI-ready digital experience, helping the business prepare for the next generation of search, content discovery, and AI-enabled customer journeys.
This is a six-month contract role with a focus on coordinating website launch activity, content development, SEO, and AI-readiness workstreams, working with internal stakeholders and external agency partners to deliver a modern, scalable digital experience. It will support content governance, testing, optimisation, reporting, and continuous improvement across the new website.
Key Responsibilities Will Include:
- Supporting the launch, optimisation, and ongoing development of the company website, ensuring content accuracy, quality, and performance across a complex stakeholder environment.
- Creating and optimising digital content in collaboration with internal experts and agency partners to improve audience engagement and discoverability.
- Driving AI-ready content practices through effective taxonomy, metadata, governance, and digital transformation initiatives.
- Building strong relationships across Marketing, Compliance, Legal, IT, and external partners, coordinating reviews, approvals, and project delivery within a matrix organisation.
- Monitoring website performance and user insights, providing reporting and recommendations to support continuous improvement.

What You’ll Bring:
We’re looking for a confident and collaborative Web Content Manager with excellent project coordination skills and experience of AI search optimisation.
You will also need:
- Experience of working successfully in a complex matrix organisation, building relationships, and influencing stakeholders to deliver projects without direct authority.
- Managing website workstreams, priorities, and dependencies to support the successful launch and continuous evolution of the website.
- A strong understanding of website management, content publishing, and digital content optimisation.
- Knowledge of SEO, content governance, and digital best practice.
- Experience in website management, content publishing, content strategy, and content creation.
- Experience managing agencies and stakeholders across multiple functions.
- Experience within financial services or another regulated sector.
- Excellent written communication skills and strong attention to detail.
- Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to translate complex requirements into practical outcomes.
