Senior Workday Analyst
Role Summary/Purpose
The Senior Workday Analyst, within the Global HR Technology and Services team, delivers, supports, and maintains the core Workday HR system while providing exceptional global customer service. This role involves meticulous HR process knowledge, issue resolution, and collaborative analysis of business processes to implement new features across HR systems.
Key Responsibilities and Deliverables

Workday Security & Data Subject Matter Expert
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to drive continuous improvement in security and data protocols

Ownership of Workday Security
- Design, configure, and maintain Workday security groups and role-based access
- Administration and oversight of domain and business process security policies

Security Compliance & Risk Management
- Conduct regular security audits and access reviews
- Support internal and external audit activities
- Maintain segregation of duties principles
- Evaluate security implications of organisational changes and new Workday functionalities

Data Governance
- Establish and uphold Workday data governance standards in alignment with business stakeholders
- Drive enhancements in data quality and data ownership accountability
- Define and implement data management processes and controls
- Ensure compliance with data retention and privacy requirements, including GDPR considerations

- Integration Assist
- Partner with integration teams to ensure secure and accurate data exchange
- Support inbound and outbound Workday integrations
- Assess and resolve data and integration issues, with a focus on data impact analysis of integration changes
- Maintain compliance with data security standards across integrated systems
Key Requirements (communication, skills, experience)
Essential
- Extensive Workday security administration experience
- Proficiency in domain and business process security principles
- Hands-on Workday reporting and calculated fields configuration
- Background in Workday data governance and data quality management
- Previous experience in audit and compliance reviews support
- Strong data privacy principles understanding
- Experience working with integrations and data flows

- Workday Pro Reporting Certification
- Workday Prism Analytics experience
- Workday integration knowledge and hands-on experience
- Purpose GDPR and regulatory compliance framework understanding
