About the role
At PwC, we help organisations reimagine how work gets done and how people experience their organisation. Workday is a powerful platform for enabling that change, but our focus is broader than configuration and deployment. We help clients make better decisions about their workforce, modernise HR services, improve data quality, simplify processes and deliver transformation that creates lasting value.
As a Workday Senior Manager within our Workforce Transformation practice, you will play a delivery-focused role across complex Workday programmes. You will lead Workday teams and major workstreams, build trusted senior client relationships and take accountability for quality, outcomes and value realisation. This is not a purely oversight or people leadership role. You will be expected to stay close to the detail, contribute hands-on where needed and provide practical Workday expertise across design, delivery, governance and issue resolution.
Alongside delivery, you will contribute to business growth, people development and practice development. However, the core expectation is that you can lead from within the programme, combining senior delivery judgement with credible, hands-on Workday capability and the ability to support teams through complex delivery challenges.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
