Senior Workplace Technology Specialist (VIP Support & End User Experience)
Month Contract | West London | On-site (5 Days per Week, Minimum 4 days)
OUTSIDE IR35 - £300 - £400 per day
We're looking for an experienced Workplace Technology Specialist who genuinely enjoys helping people and takes pride in delivering an exceptional end-user experience. This is not a traditional desktop support role.
You'll become the face of IT within our London office, providing outstanding day-to-day support to around 100 users, building trusted relationships with employees at every level of the business, including senior leadership.
You'll work closely alongside a Managed Service Provider who delivers the third-line technical capability, allowing you to focus on delivering first-class customer service, proactive workplace support, and ensuring every interaction with IT is professional, efficient, and positive. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a highly visible role where communication, ownership, and relationship building are just as important as technical ability.
What You'll Be Doing
Deliver an Outstanding User Experience
- Become the primary face of IT within the London office
- Build trusted relationships with users across the business, including Directors and senior stakeholders
- Deliver a genuine white-glove support experience
- Provide hands-on support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and workplace technology
- Take ownership of issues from initial contact through to successful resolution
- Communicate confidently with both technical and non-technical users

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
