Based in Leicester, this is an exciting opportunity for a highly creative and commercially minded designer with an elevated, modern and current handwriting, who can confidently deliver trend-led collections across multiple woven categories.

The ideal candidate will have an exceptional eye for emerging trends, a sophisticated aesthetic, and the ability to translate directional inspiration into commercially successful product. This role offers hybrid working and will look at designers from Manchester, Leeds and London as well as local in Leicester BUT this is not a totally remote role as there will be a couple of days you will need to go into the office.

Main Responsibilities

  • Designing and developing trend-led, contemporary womenswear collections across woven multi-product categories, including dresses, blouses, tops, skirts, trousers.
  • Creating original and innovative design concepts that reflect an elevated, modern aesthetic while aligning with customer profiles and market trends.
  • Researching, interpreting, and forecasting emerging fashion trends, fabrications, colours, and silhouettes to develop commercially successful collections.
  • Producing seasonal mood boards, colour palettes, CADs, technical sketches, and comprehensive design packs.
  • Working closely with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure designs are commercially viable, production-ready, and delivered to critical path deadlines.
  • Presenting design concepts and seasonal ranges confidently to clients and key stakeholders.
  • Driving innovation through fabric sourcing, garment construction, and silhouette development.
  • Managing multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining exceptional attention to detail and meeting tight deadlines.
  • Supporting and mentoring junior members of the design team where required.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
