Senior xMatters and ServiceNow SME

ServiceNow xMatters SME

Location: London (Hybrid – 3 days onsite per week)
Rate: £400 per day outside IR35
Contract: 6 months+

I'm currently supporting a leading organisation in the search for an experienced ServiceNow xMatters SME to join a team focused on improving incident management, automation and operational resilience. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong xMatters expertise and ServiceNow Incident Management experience who enjoys designing event-driven automation and integrating enterprise platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, configure and optimise xMatters alerting, notification and escalation workflows.
  • Develop and maintain integrations between xMatters, ServiceNow, and other enterprise platforms.
  • Build REST API and webhook integrations to automate incident response processes.
  • Improve alerting, routing and operational workflows through automation.
  • Support incident management, troubleshooting and continuous service improvements.
  • Develop reporting and dashboards to provide operational insight.

Key Skills & Experience

  • At least 6 years' experience within Enterprise IT Engineering or IT Service Management.
  • Strong hands-on experience with xMatters.
  • Experience with ServiceNow Incident Management.
  • REST API and webhook integration experience.
  • Strong automation and scripting mindset.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience working in complex enterprise environments.
