Senior xMatters and ServiceNow SME
ServiceNow xMatters SME
Location: London (Hybrid – 3 days onsite per week)
Rate: £400 per day outside IR35
Contract: 6 months+
I'm currently supporting a leading organisation in the search for an experienced ServiceNow xMatters SME to join a team focused on improving incident management, automation and operational resilience. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong xMatters expertise and ServiceNow Incident Management experience who enjoys designing event-driven automation and integrating enterprise platforms.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, configure and optimise xMatters alerting, notification and escalation workflows.
- Develop and maintain integrations between xMatters, ServiceNow, and other enterprise platforms.
- Build REST API and webhook integrations to automate incident response processes.
- Improve alerting, routing and operational workflows through automation.
- Support incident management, troubleshooting and continuous service improvements.
- Develop reporting and dashboards to provide operational insight.

Key Skills & Experience
- At least 6 years' experience within Enterprise IT Engineering or IT Service Management.
- Strong hands-on experience with xMatters.
- Experience with ServiceNow Incident Management.
- REST API and webhook integration experience.
- Strong automation and scripting mindset.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working in complex enterprise environments.
