We're working with an established multi-disciplinary consultancy that is looking to appoint a Senior or Associate Building Surveyor to join its Manchester team. This role offers a blend of project delivery and professional advisory work, providing exposure to a wide range of residential, commercial and refurbishment schemes.

The Role
As a Senior / Associate Building Surveyor, you will take ownership of a varied portfolio of projects while delivering a range of professional building surveying services to a diverse client base.
The role combines project-led responsibilities with traditional building surveying work, making it ideal for someone who enjoys variety and client-facing responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver project management and contract administration services
- Lead refurbishment, renovation and remediation projects
- Undertake defects diagnosis and condition assessments
- Prepare planned maintenance programmes and reinstatement cost assessments
- Advise on landlord and tenant matters and party wall issues
- Manage project teams and stakeholder relationships
- Administer JCT contracts and oversee project delivery from inception to completion

About You
- Degree-qualified Building Surveyor with relevant industry experience
- MRICS qualified or working towards chartership
- Strong knowledge of the JCT suite of contracts
- Experience delivering refurbishment and construction projects
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Commercially aware with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Working Pattern
- Office-based role – 100% office attendance
- Manchester office location
- Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:30pm
