Revolutionise how your advisers think

Blackfinch Group is bringing the future to financial advisers in tax-advantaged products, asset management and employee benefits.

Our BDMs connect advisers with our award-winning ventures and asset managers through strong local relationships, and make complex concepts seem simple and effective.

We’re looking for an ambitious Senior / Executive Business Development Manager in the Scotland area who brings energy, ownership, and a genuine passion for building relationships.

This is a role for someone who enjoys opening new doors, growing existing partnerships, and delivering real commercial impact.

What you’ll be doing

You’ll take full ownership of your territory — driving growth by:

  • Winning new adviser firms and establishing Blackfinch as a trusted partner
  • Expanding relationships within existing firms — increasing engagement, product use, and value
  • Protecting and strengthening partnerships through consistent, high-quality service

This is a role where activity matters, but impact matters more. Every conversation, meeting, and interaction should move relationships forward.

What makes this role different

  • You’re not just selling — you’re building long-term partnerships
  • You’ll represent a broad, high-quality product range across tax and asset management
  • You’ll have the autonomy to run your territory like a business
  • You’ll be part of a team that values collaboration, energy, and continuous improvement
  • This role is as much about attitude and behaviours as it is about experience.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
