Senior Commercial Lawyer – Cardiff or London
Join one of Wales’ largest commercial legal teams. We are proud of our reputation for delivering expert legal solutions to major businesses across the UK.
We’re now looking for a talented Senior Commercial Lawyer (based in Cardiff or London) to help us grow our national presence and continue delivering exceptional service to our clients.
About the Role
As a key member of our Commercial team, you’ll:
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts.
- Advise clients on commercial law, IP, data protection, and e-commerce.
- Deliver training and presentations to clients and internal teams.
- Support corporate transactions with expertise in commercial, IP, and IT matters.
- Collaborate with colleagues across the firm to provide strategic legal input.
Key Responsibilities
- Provision of expert commercial advice across a broad range of industries.
- Special emphasis on high-value transactions, including property, outsourcing, licensing, and joint ventures.
- Contribution to the team’s ongoing thought leadership and development of new service offerings.
- Active engagement in public-facing projects, including presentations and client workshops.

Requirements
- Qualified solicitor with 7+ years Post-Qualification Experience (PQE) in commercial law.
- Strong technical knowledge and commercial awareness within relevant sectors.
- Exceptional communication, drafting, and problem-solving skills.
- A client-focused mindset with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Commitment to professional development and upholding high ethical standards.
