Role Overview ARTO is seeking an experienced and commercially driven Senior / Principal Consultant to join our growing team. This role is ideal for a high-performing recruiter with experience in the Life Sciences sector, who can manage the full recruitment lifecycle, build long term client relationships, and contribute to the strategic growth of the business. Being our newest office, it’s seen rapid success and so, being at early stages within a Meritocratic organisation – there are several opportunities within the business.

Key Responsibilities Client Development & Management Develop and manage strong, long term relationships with new and existing clients within the Life Sciences sector Act as a recruitment partner and advisor, understanding client business needs, culture, and hiring strategies Identify and generate new business opportunities through networking, referrals, and proactive outreach Negotiate terms of business, fees, and service agreements Candidate Management Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from role briefing to placement Source, screen, interview, and assess candidates across Life Sciences disciplines using multiple attraction methods Provide a high-touch candidate experience, including interview preparation and offer management Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline within your specialist Life Sciences market Delivery & Performance Consistently meet or exceed individual revenue and placement targets Manage multiple roles simultaneously while maintaining high quality standards Ensure compliance with recruitment legislation, data protection, and company processes Leadership & Contribution Mentor and support junior consultants where required Share Life Sciences market insights, best practices, and contribute to overall team performance Support ARTO’s brand through professional representation in the market

Skills & Experience Essential Proven experience as a Senior / Principal Recruitment Consultant or high-performing Recruitment Consultant Recruitment experience within the Life Sciences sector Strong billing track record and commercial awareness Experience managing client relationships and delivering end-to-end recruitment Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills Ability to work autonomously while contributing to a team environment Desirable Experience recruiting across specialist Life Sciences disciplines (e.g. biotech, pharma & medtech) Business development experience in a competitive recruitment environment
