I'm currently working with a highly regarded transport consultancy that is investing significantly in the growth of its Bristol office.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Senior or Principal Transport Planner to join a business with an outstanding reputation in the development and infrastructure sectors, while playing a key role in the continued expansion of its South West presence.
The consultancy works on a diverse portfolio of projects across residential, commercial, mixed-use, logistics, education and major infrastructure developments, partnering with leading developers, architects and public sector organisations throughout the UK and internationally.
The Opportunity
Joining a growing office, you'll have the chance to make a genuine impact on both project delivery and the future direction of the team. You'll lead transport planning projects, manage client relationships and contribute to business growth, while working alongside a highly experienced national team.

- Leading the preparation of Transport Assessments, Transport Statements and Travel Plans
- Managing projects through the planning process from inception to completion
- Providing strategic transport planning advice to clients and project teams
- Building and maintaining strong client and stakeholder relationships
- Supporting business development activities and identifying new opportunities
- Mentoring and developing junior members of the team
- Contributing to the continued growth of the Bristol office
About You
I'm keen to speak with candidates who have:
- Experience within a transport planning consultancy environment
- A strong understanding of the UK planning system and development process
- Excellent report-writing and communication skills
- Experience managing projects and client relationships
- A commercial mindset and an interest in helping grow a successful regional office
- The ambition to progress their career within a growing business
