Senior GPU Architect – GPU Architecture / Performance Modelling / Graphics Systems / AI Accelerators
We are currently partnered with an innovative semiconductor company developing next-generation GPU IP for mobile, AI, automotive, consumer electronics, and high-performance computing platforms. As part of a growing GPU Architecture team, they are looking to hire Senior GPU Architects to define and optimise next-generation GPU architectures, performance models, and hardware/software co-design strategies that deliver industry-leading performance, power efficiency, and scalability.
Key responsibilities
- Define and develop next-generation GPU architectures for advanced SoC platforms
- Build and maintain performance, functional, and cycle-accurate models for GPU subsystems including shader cores, memory hierarchies, interconnects, and fixed-function units
- Evaluate architectural trade-offs across performance, power, and area (PPA) to guide microarchitecture decisions
- Analyse graphics, gaming, AI/ML, and GPU compute workloads to identify performance bottlenecks and optimisation opportunities
- Collaborate closely with RTL, Design Verification, Driver, Compiler, and Performance teams to ensure architectural intent is successfully implemented

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
