SEO and GEO Content Specialist - 12M FTC

SEO and GEO Content Specialist

Contract: 12-month Fixed-Term Contract (FTC)

Shift: Full Time

Location: Nottingham

Recruitment Partner: Matthew Nelligan

About the Role

Join Boots as an SEO and GEO Content Specialist in Nottingham, Beeston!

Are you passionate about SEO and content strategy, with a drive to innovate in a dynamic environment? We’re looking for a proactive content specialist to join our Digital Team and help shape our digital content strategy across key platforms.

At Boots, we foster a workplace culture built on care, confidence, and connection. You’ll collaborate with a dedicated team, contributing to innovative projects while growing personally and professionally.

What You’ll Do

Working closely with the SEO Content Manager, you’ll support SEO and content strategy across platforms like the Inspire Me Hub, Health Hub, and beyond. Key responsibilities include:

Supporting the SEO Content Manager

  • Deliver and streamline the broader SEO & content strategy, taking ownership of workstreams to enable strategic decision-making.
  • Contribute to performance reporting, monthly business reviews, and stakeholder updates, translating data into insightful, actionable recommendations.
  • Manage keyword portfolios in Pi Datametrics and maintain SEO documentation, briefing templates, and team workflows.

SEO Content for Hub Platforms

  • Lead continuous SEO improvements across the Inspire Me Hub and Health Hub, including audits, optimisations, and GAP analysis, prioritised by traffic and commercial impact.
  • Conduct keyword research and search intent analysis, identifying content gaps and growth opportunities to feed into the content planning-Briefing cycle.
  • Monitor content performance, translating insights into clear recommendations while supporting E-E-A-T (Experience, Expertise, Authoritativeness, Trustworthiness) initiatives like expert integration and UGC (User-Generated Content) pilots.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
