You’ll help shape the bank of the future through search engine optimisation (SEO) and generative engine optimisation (GEO) strategies that drive customer value and seamless customer experiences.
This is an opportunity to join a fast-paced, customer-focused Retail team that champions Agile methodologies, innovative thinking, and creative new ways of working.
What you'll do
As an SEO and GEO Experience Manager, you'll support Retail journey teams in delivering excellent customer experiences across our digital estate. You’ll also provide market-leading search and GEO analysis and support. This analysis will help us achieve ambitious growth targets for site traffic and customer acquisition, while championing customer needs through excellence in content design.
Additionally, your role will involve:
- Utilising industry-standard tools such as Semrush and STAT to generate new SEO and GEO analysis and recommendations
- Participating in cross-disciplinary working groups, presenting proposals, and generating buy-in for search-led content optimisation and creation
- Supporting the design and deployment of content across our websites by completing authoring tasks within the Adobe Experience Manager content management system
- Completing performance analysis and related performance management activities, while actively contributing to the wider SEO and GEO strategy through these insights
- Acting as a champion for SEO and GEO within the Retail business, engaging with new stakeholders, and supporting their projects in a constantly evolving environment

The skills you'll need
We're looking for someone who’s passionate about the future of search and excited by the opportunities that AI and generative experiences are creating. With experience in SEO and content optimisation, you must be comfortable using data and insights to identify opportunities, improve performance, and support the delivery of impactful search initiatives.
To succeed in this role, you'll also need excellent stakeholder management skills and the confidence to work with a range of teams to drive results. Organised, detail-oriented, and proactive, you must be able to independently manage campaigns from planning through to execution and measurement while maintaining a strong focus on quality and customer outcomes.

In addition, you’ll need:
- To be a talented and curious communicator who can influence, inspire, and engage customers and colleagues
- The ability to help shape and implement strategic direction for future customer experiences
- A proven ability to adapt to rapidly changing environments, learn at pace, and encourage others to do the same
- A strong focus on experimentation and testing, including A/B testing and hypothesis-driven SEO and GEO approaches
- An awareness of user experience and conversion impact on SEO performance
- Advanced prompt and keyword research skills, search intent mapping capabilities, and an awareness of search engine results pages and GEO trends
- Strong content optimisation skills, including content structure, entities, and Experience, Expertise, Authoritativeness, and Trustworthiness principles
