We're looking for a talented and enthusiastic SEO Content Creator & Proposal Writer to join our team. The Role
As an SEO Content Creator & Proposal Writer, you'll be responsible for creating high-quality, SEO-optimised content for a diverse portfolio of clients while supporting the agency's new business efforts through compelling sales proposals.
Working closely with the wider SEO team, you'll contribute ideas, collaborate on campaigns, and ensure all content meets both client objectives and search engine best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce well-researched, engaging, and high-quality SEO content, including:
- Landing pages
- Blog articles
- Product descriptions
- Category page content
- Create high-quality SEO proposals for prospective clients by:
- Conducting keyword research using SEMrush
- Identifying website opportunities and issues using SEO auditing tools
- Producing proposals in line with agency templates and standards
- Incorporating recommendations and insights from the wider SEO team
- Participate in team meetings, providing updates on workload, priorities, and project progress
- Accurately record daily time and tasks using the agency's project management software
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure projects are delivered efficiently and to a high standard

What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who has:
- Excellent content writing and proofreading skills
- A good understanding of SEO fundamentals, or a willingness to learn quickly
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience conducting keyword research (SEMrush experience is advantageous)
- An eye for detail and the ability to produce accurate, high-quality work
- A proactive approach to learning and professional development
- The ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team
- Experience using content management systems and agency software is desirable
What Success Looks Like
Successful candidates will:
- Produce high-quality SEO content that requires minimal revisions
- Deliver work within agreed deadlines and time estimates
- Conduct accurate and relevant keyword research to support content strategies
- Produce high-quality sales proposals with minimal feedback required
- Follow SEO best practices across all written content
- Maintain accurate project and time tracking records
- Demonstrate professionalism when working with colleagues and clients
- Take ownership of their personal development and continuously expand their SEO knowledge
- Contribute positively to the agency culture by supporting colleagues and sharing knowledge
Performance Measures
Success in the role will be measured through:
- Quality of written content and adherence to SEO best practices
- Accuracy and effectiveness of keyword research
- Quality of proposals produced
- Turnaround times for content and proposal delivery
- Ability to meet project deadlines and estimated time allocations
- Level of feedback and revisions required
