SEO Content Manager
About the Role
Releaf Dispensary Ltd is a leading medical cannabis clinic dedicated to delivering high-quality, safe, and effective cannabis-based treatments. Based in the UK, we are focused on improving patients' quality of life through innovative solutions and outstanding service.
Releaf is a fast-growing team of driven professionals passionate about empowering patients to manage their health journey with confidence. We're at the forefront of providing alternative treatments that can transform lives. We're looking for an SEO Content Manager to drive our SEO content strategy forward, with an emphasis on strategy, high-quality writing, and team leadership.
You’ll own the content planning for your specialist area, oversee a pod of two writers, and maintain hands-on involvement with our key content pages and articles. This role suits someone who thrives on strategic thinking but is not prepared to completely step away from direct writing responsibilities.
Reporting to the Head of Content, your responsibilities will include converting business priorities into clear content planning, ensuring the team delivers consistently, maintaining high content quality, brand alignment, search optimisation, and compliance with industry regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- SEO Strategy: Lead content planning and roadmapping for your area, transforming business priorities and SEO goals into a structured plan in collaboration with the Head of Content.
- Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, and develop two SEO content writers, setting clear expectations and providing constructive feedback.
- Writing & Accountability: Continuously produce and refine our flagship content to establish high standards for the team.
- Quality Control: Review, edit, and approve content created by your pod to ensure accuracy, brand consistency, SEO optimisation, and alignment with regulatory guidelines.
- Briefing & Execution: Translate the content roadmap into precise content briefs, systematically allocate tasks to your team, and ensure timely delivery.
- SEO Analytics: Apply strict on-page SEO best practices while leveraging performance data to prioritise updates, improvements, and new content.
- Brand Voice & Trust: Protect and uphold Releaf’s tone of voice, ensuring a high standard of expertise, authority, and trust (E-E-A-T).
- Compliance: Guarantee that all content adheres to the specific regulatory and compliance requirements relevant to the medical cannabis sector.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the Head of Content, the SEO team, and the broader marketing team to maintain cohesive and integrated content efforts.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
