SEO & GEO Account Manager

SEO & GEO Account Manager – Future Publishing

We’re looking for an SEO & GEO Account Manager to join our growing commercial SEO team.

About the Role

Search is evolving rapidly. Alongside traditional search, AI-powered search experiences—such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Google AI Overviews, and Google AI Mode—are shaping how users discover content. As a global digital publisher, we help commercial clients understand and improve their visibility across these emerging platforms.

Reporting to the SEO & GEO Innovation Manager, you’ll act as the strategic day-to-day lead for a portfolio of GEO campaigns, collaborating directly with clients to enhance their discoverability. This role combines SEO expertise, commercial awareness, and strategic communication, working closely with optimisation specialists, analysts, and clients to ensure successful campaign delivery and value communication.

While account management is central to this role, it is fundamentally an SEO specialist position. We’re looking for someone who can confidently advise clients on technical SEO, content strategy, and emerging search trends—positioning them as a trusted advisor in an ever-changing landscape.

Key Responsibilities

Client & Campaign Management

  • Act as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of UK-based GEO clients
  • Lead regular client meetings, performance reviews, and strategic discussions
  • Build strong client relationships and act as a trusted SEO advisor
  • Translate complex SEO concepts into clear actionable recommendations
  • Guide clients through an evolving search landscape, explaining campaign performance and outcomes
  • Ensure timely campaign delivery and alignment with agreed objectives

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
