About the Role
We're looking for an experienced SEO manager to lead organic search strategy and execution across one of our key B2B accounts. You'll own technical SEO, content strategy, and performance reporting, while also bringing a commercial mindset that extends beyond rankings and traffic into on-site conversion and how brands show up in AI-driven search experiences.
What You’ll Do
Strategy and Planning
- Contribute to and own SEO strategies aligned to client or business objectives.
- Conduct keyword research, competitor analysis, and market opportunity assessments.
- Build and prioritise roadmaps balancing technical fixes, content, and authority building.
- Delegate fixes to relevant teams and guide these through to completion.
Technical SEO
- Lead technical SEO audits.
- Manage or advise on migrations, redirect mapping, canonicalisation, and structured data.
- Work with developers to implement fixes and monitor post-launch performance.
- Use a wide range of tools to measure and report on progress such as Screaming Frog, Semrush, Profound, and Adobe Analytics.

Content and On-Page
- Guide content teams on search intent, topical coverage, and on-page optimisation.
- Review and improve existing content for performance and relevance.
- Ensure content structure supports both traditional search and emerging AI-driven discovery.
Reporting and Analysis
- Report on rankings, traffic, and visibility.
- Translate data into clear commercial insights for clients or stakeholders.
- Monitor algorithm updates and adjust strategy accordingly.
Client or Stakeholder Management
- Confidently converse with senior stakeholders about the impact of your implementations.
- Manage day-to-day relationships and identify opportunities to expand scope.
About You
Essential
- 3+ years' experience in an SEO-focused role, agency or in-house.
- Strong technical SEO knowledge.
- Proficiency with SEO and the already discussed toolset.
- Confident communicating technical findings to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience managing or contributing to website migrations.
Desirable — CRO
- Working knowledge of conversion rate optimisation principles: landing page structure, calls to action, user journey friction points.
- Comfortable proposing simple A/B test hypotheses that sit alongside SEO recommendations.
Desirable — AI Visibility
- Awareness of how content is surfaced in AI-driven search experiences (e.g. AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Perplexity) and how this differs from traditional SERP visibility.
- Understanding of how structured data, clear entity signals, and authoritative content contribute to being cited or referenced by AI systems.
Nice to Have
- Experience across both B2B and consumer sectors.
- Familiarity with international or multilingual SEO.
- Basic understanding of paid search or wider complementary digital marketing channels.
