At Itineris, we help ambitious organisations turn complexity into performance by using strategy, creativity and data to drive measurable outcomes. As an award-winning digital agency working across the education, charity and professional services sectors, we build campaigns grounded in clarity, impact and collaboration.
SEO is a critical part of our offering, and we’re known for delivering search strategies that improve visibility, strengthen content performance and support long-term client growth.
The Role
We’re looking for an SEO Account Manager who can lead the strategy and delivery of organic search activity across a range of client accounts. You’ll play a key role within the SEO team, shaping recommendations, managing client relationships and ensuring work is delivered with clarity, accuracy and commercial purpose.
You’ll be responsible for building SEO strategies, developing activity roadmaps, analysing performance and presenting recommendations to clients. This is a hands-on role, suited to someone who understands the detail behind technical SEO, content optimisation and search performance, while also being confident leading client conversations.
This role blends technical knowledge, analytical thinking and client leadership, making it ideal for someone who wants to take ownership of SEO accounts and deliver work that has a measurable impact.
You are required to attend the office a minimum of three days per week. Our current office days are Monday, Wednesday and Thursday.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead SEO strategy and delivery across a range of client accounts, ensuring activity is clearly planned, prioritised and aligned with client objectives.
- Carry out targeted keyword research and search trend analysis to identify opportunities for growth.
- Develop organic search roadmaps, content recommendations and workflow plans that support long-term performance.
- Conduct competitor analysis and website benchmarking across content, on-page optimisation and off-site metrics.
- Produce technical SEO audits and provide clear, actionable recommendations for client websites.
- Research content opportunities and support campaign planning across priority topics, sectors and audiences.
- Monitor organic performance, keyword rankings and search visibility, using data to identify trends, risks and opportunities.
- Create client-facing reports that explain results clearly, highlight value and outline next steps.
- Use tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Screaming Frog, Ahrefs and SEMrush to inform recommendations and reporting.
- Prepare PowerPoint presentations and ensure client deliverables are accurate, consistent and insight-led.
- Attend and lead client meetings and calls, presenting recommendations with confidence and clarity.
- Support new business activity through research, insight and strategic SEO recommendations.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
