SEO Specialist – Manchester, Nottinghamshire
Express Recruitment are delighted to support a market-leading business in their search for an SEO Specialist based in North Nottinghamshire.
This role is ideal for a commercially minded SEO professional with hands-on experience, fluent in a fast-paced, high-performance environment. The selected candidate will play a pivotal role in driving organic growth across major retail brands—collaborating closely with digital marketing teams to optimise performance and amplify visibility.
Role Details
- Salary: c£33,000 per annum, negotiable
- Working Model: Hybrid (4 days in-office, 1 day remote)
- Employment Type: Full-time, permanent
- Location: Mansfield, Nottinghamshire
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and optimise the SEO channel daily, ensuring alignment with broader digital marketing goals
- Develop and implement data-driven strategies to enhance SEO performance and keyword rankings
- Conduct deep technical SEO audits, pinpointing and resolving performance bottlenecks
- Analyse and refine website architecture, internal linking, and on-page content to boost organic visibility
- Collaborate with content teams to optimise category pages, landing pages, blogs, FAQs, and purchasing guides

Essential Skills & Experience
- Proven SEO expertise, either in-house or agency-side
- Strong grasp of keyword research, SEO strategy, and seasonal optimisation techniques
- Hands-on experience with technical SEO audits and associated performance diagnostics
- Ability to analyse data and present findings confidently to stakeholders
- Proficiency with SEO tools: SEMrush, Screaming Frog, Botify, or similar
