We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced SEO Specialist to join our evolving Marketing department based at Albany House in Central Eastbourne. This new role brings great opportunity to shape our SEO strategy and drive organic growth across our Brewers.co.uk and Wallpaperdirect.com businesses.
In this commercially focused role you will take ownership of the Brewers and Wallpaper Direct SEO strategy and performance, building brand authority, increasing visibility in both traditional and AI-driven search and delivering measurable results.
Our SEO Specialist will play a vital role in shaping how customers discover Brewers and Wallpaper Direct online, combining content strategy, data insight and evolving search trends to maximise impact. If you are passionate about SEO and want to influence how a well established brand grows its digital presence, we would love to hear from you.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has a strong SEO background, (ideally in a retail or omni-channel environment), self motivated with a commercial mindset and who is able to identify opportunities and take ownership of delivery.

What does the role of SEO Specialist involve?
- Taking ownership and delivering the SEO roadmap across our Brewers and Wallpaperdirect businesses
- Driving organic performance, including traffic, revenue and ROI
- Leading content SEO strategy, including keyword research and search intent analysis
- Identifying opportunities to grow authority through content, outreach and partnerships
- Analysing and reporting on performance, competitor activity and trends
- Developing and evolving our approach to AI-driven search (GEO)
- Collaborating with internal teams and stakeholders to embed SEO across campaigns
- Supporting technical SEO priorities in partnership with internal teams and agencies
- Managing external SEO agencies and supplier relationships
Who We Are Looking For To Join The Team
- Strong background in SEO, ideally within a retail or omni-channel environment
- Proven experience driving organic growth through content and off page activity
- Good understanding of both on page and off page SEO (technical knowledge beneficial)
- Experience working with tools such as GA4, Search Console and SEMrush
- An interest in emerging trends, including AI and generative search (GEO)
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn data into actionable insight
- Confident communicator who can explain SEO to non specialists and strong stakeholder communication skills
- A collaborative and adaptable approach with the ability to influence across teams
- Highly organised, proactive and able to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-changing landscape
- Proficient in Microsoft Office to an intermediate level including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
