About Your Team
Join our Marketing Team, where we're sustainably driving growth with goals to become the leading marketplace for gamers. We obsess over merging data-driven optimization, entertainment, and creativity, and our SEO team is where this comes to life on the product side.
You'll join the onsite side of SEO - covering strategy, technical SEO, and e-commerce/marketplace optimization - working closely with our offsite team (link acquisition, publications, content collaboration). Our culture is built on high ownership and autonomy. In return, we expect proactive, transparent communication - it's a hard requirement here, not a nice-to-have.
This role owns SEO with the mandate to build these programs from scratch and set the long-term direction, not just maintain what already exists.
Responsibilities
- Build and drive data-driven SEO programs, including semantic and internal linking, technical optimization, and content strategy, with a focus on new-user acquisition and GMV growth.
- Go deep on technical and onsite SEO.
- Use GSC, GA, Ahrefs/Semrush, and Screaming Frog to back every decision, and measure success in terms of business outcomes - GMV and revenue impact.
- Set your own quarterly goals and manage your own time and priorities, with regular sync check-ins to keep your lead aligned on progress and direction.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Content & Localization, the Offsite SEO team, and DevOps - to align on strategy, budget, and site-structure implementation.
- Think in the long term: this is a 2–5 year strategic effort, not a short-term project, so you'll be expected to define durable, long-term action points alongside near-term execution.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Requirements
- 3+ years of in-house SEO experience, working as part of a team - ideally at a large e-commerce or marketplace business.
- Genuine technical/onsite SEO depth beyond the surface level - structured data, data-driven internal linking, page speed, and core web performance.
- A data-driven, business-outcome mindset: comfortable using GSC, GA, Ahrefs/Semrush, and Screaming Frog to inform decisions, and used to measuring success through GMV/revenue impact.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills and a proactive, transparent communication style. Comfortable working autonomously, owning a domain end-to-end, and setting your own direction without day-to-day task assignment.
