Sequencing QC Scientist

Sequencing QC Scientist – Biologics QC Team

We are looking for an experienced individual to join our Biologics QC team as a Sequencing QC Scientist. This role supports the day-to-day batch release testing of production materials.

About the Role

This quality control position reports to the Biologics QC Lead. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Supporting batch release testing of production materials to ensure compliance.
  • Ensuring batch records are correctly followed, incoming materials are logged and stored as required.
  • Maintaining up-to-date communication with process partners, notably by keeping JIRA tickets current.

Key Responsibilities

  • Stability testing
  • QC data tracking & analysis
  • Updating Standard Procedures (SPs) and item specifications
  • Raising Change Notes, Deviations, CAPAs, and Non-conformances
  • Performing general laboratory maintenance

Requirements

Skills & Experience

  • Relevant analytical experience, ideally from the medical device or pharmaceutical industries.
  • A strong working knowledge of data analysis/statistical methods, compliant with GMP and GLP regulations.
  • Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies and quality-driven processes.
  • Excellent attention to detail, paired with clear communication skills.
  • A team-orientated attitude, responsive to customer feedback, and eager to drive positive change.

Qualifications

  • An **honours BSc (or equivalent) in a relevant scientific discipline.
