Server/Waiter/Waitress - Bathwick
Hello Bath
Now recruiting for a Waiting Team Member at No.15 Bath by GuestHouse.
Do you love making people smile before they've even seen the menu? Can you carry three plates, remember a table's drink order, and still have time to recommend the best local ale? Are you ready to work in a city where the service is as polished as the Georgian stone?
Here at No.15 Bath by GuestHouse, we're a small but stylish, family-run boutique hotel, and we're looking for a Waiting Team Member who can serve up elegance with a smile and turn every guest's experience into a key memory.
What You'll Be Doing
- Deliver exceptional service in our restaurant (breakfast room), bar, and lounge - with charm, confidence, and a dash of flair
- Take orders, serve food and drinks, and make guests feel special, like a character in a Jane Austen novel
- Keep the dining areas looking as polished as Bath's crescents
- Work closely with the kitchen and front-of-house teams to keep things flowing smoothly
- Share your knowledge of the menu, local produce, and maybe even a fun fact about the Roman Baths

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
