The Role
Join Hampshire’s Inclusion Support Service and contribute to improving the lives of vulnerable children and young people. As a Service Administrator, you’ll support the School Attendance Support Team as the first point of contact for attendance-related queries from schools, parents, and partner agencies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage attendance enquiries via phone, email, and inbox queries for schools, parents, and partner agencies.
- Maintain accurate data records, track enquiries, update databases, and record case notes on Capita One.
- Support daily service delivery through arranging meetings, producing data reports, and cross-team collaboration.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Act as the first-line responder for school attendance issues.
- Organise meetings, draft reports, and compile statistics to inform decision-making.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders in a fast-paced, inclusive environment.

Requirements
Essential
- A strong understanding of the impact of school attendance on children and young people.
- Proven organisational skills—the ability to multitask while maintaining high accuracy.
- Data proficiency: Experience producing, interpreting, and reporting on statistics.
- Excellent communication—written, verbal, and interpersonal skills crucial for stakeholder rapport.
- Commitment to proactive problem-solving and alongside a team focused on safeguarding.
